Carol Lansen is an award-recognized novelist whose debut, Whispering Pines, was a finalist for the Independent Excellence Awards. She writes emotionally resonant, character-driven fiction about love, loss, and the moments that shape who we become.
Originally from Wisconsin, she is a graduate of the University of South Florida and now lives in Southern California. In addition to writing fiction, Carol contributes editorials and has served as a board member of her local writers’ guild. She shares her home with her rescue dog, Marty, and can often be found on early-morning hikes or testing new baking recipes on a circle of willing friends.

Cassandra’s adventures with Pete (and Jackson by her side) are vibrant, hilarious, and deeply human. The characters felt so real that I genuinely forgot I was reading fiction at times.
